In line with the intensification of continuing education of physicians and researchers in the life sciences, The Slovak Immunology Society and the Institute of Neuroimmunology SAS organized the first annual one-day conference entitled "Biological therapy in theory and practice I", on September 4, 2014. Invitation was accepted by 21 prominent figures from the fields of clinical and experimental research, who presented their contributions to 90 conference participants. The participants of the conference appreciated the intense day professional program, received a certificate of participation and were allocated 8 credits within a training program for health professionals. The conference was organized with the financial support of the grant VEGA-0677-12.
