As part of the World Alzheimer's Month the sixth series of the international conference "Activation of seniors and non-pharmacological approaches to treating Alzheimer's disease", was held in Bratislava, on September 18-19, 2014. The main organizers of the conference were: Slovak Alzheimer's Society, Center MEMORY n.o. and the Institute of Neuroimmunology SAS. The conference was attended by almost 200 people from Slovakia: professionals from the social service facilities, therapists and motivational staff with people with dementia, nurses, executives and guests from Spain, the Netherlands, Estonia and the Czech Republic. During the two days of the conference, 15 lectures and 5 workshops were presented.
